When I opened the first one, I would have given it 4 stars. There were a lot of scratches and marks, and flecks coming off, but it was good quality for the price and sturdy. The second box though was far worse. A lot of the pieces were off, so the construction has little gaps and is out of line. A piece is missing threading so the screw doesn't catch. and the hardware in the bag was for the wrong color. All are minor things, but still it is making me lower to 3 Stars. It still feels like a sturdy shelf, and I get good use out of it. Just manage your expectations on the quality.

Beautiful! Issues with one board - compressed wood and it broke, had to clamp and wood glue it, but once assembled came out beautifully

Great bookshelves that are priced for someone not wanting to spend too much. They can be put together or styled apart.

For the money they are a good buy. Needed something for an extra room I have where all my husbands cds, cassette tapes and vinyls are kept.

We got 4 of these to add storage to our living room. They look great together and gave us a ton of storage for craft supplies/games/etc while also giving us a place to display pictures.
