Nice bookshelf, great silhouette, and seems a little roomier than I anticipated (which I'm glad). Like other reviews said there are some small cracks in the paint, and there are some irregularities in the paint (glossy and flat areas). Overall it's flaws will not be very noticeable where I plan to put it and I'm very relieved there was no damage during shipping. Very nice staff delivered it quickly and safely upstairs and disposed of packaging as well.

Beautiful bookcase. Perfect addition to my entryway.

From far away, this bookcase is beautiful. It's tall, looks sturdy, and has just the right fancy look for my living room. But when you look closely, you'll see that every seam between the shelves, sides, base and crown has paint that is cracked. Every place two pieces of wood connect to each other has cracking paint. This particular one was built in January 2022, so two years ago. Perhaps it went to another house and got returned and the parts moved in transit. One of the shelves is crooked and another has a nail sticking out the side. In the end, I kept the bookcase as I was offered a partial refund.
