I was looking for a simple, sturdy bookcase because I have a lot of books and some small decorations I wanted to display. I already had a bookcase, but the color did not match my furniture, and it didn’t fit the overall design I wanted for my living room. This one was a much better choice. First, be prepared: it comes in a BIG, HEAVY box! If you live on a second floor as I do, I highly recommend asking Wayfair beforehand if room-of-choice delivery is available. I carried the box upstairs by myself, and believe me, I paid for it afterward! So definitely consider getting some help with that part. The bookcase itself is fairly easy to assemble. The instructions recommend two people, but I assembled it by myself. If you have enough space and can use a bench or another sturdy surface for support, you may be able to do it without a second person. The assembly guide is good, although it could be improved. I think it would be much easier if all the hardware pieces were clearly labeled, so you can identify the right piece immediately whenever the instructions tell you to use it. Another thing to keep in mind is that mine did not come with the tools needed for assembly. Thankfully, I already had the necessary tools at home. It took me about four hours to put everything together, but I actually enjoyed the project and kept myself entertained while assembling it. One detail I did not like was the small stickers included to cover the holes. They aren't very well designed, and when you try to peel them off the sheet, they can easily get messy, bend, or get damaged. I think the manufacturer could definitely improve the quality of these dots. Overall, the bookcase is simple, sturdy, and gives me plenty of space for my books and decorations. Most importantly, the color and style work much better with the rest of my furniture and the look I wanted for the room.

One of the best buy I made. Two hours assembly but has a very clear manual and the bolts and screws worked perfectly in place. Beautiful and functional at the same time.

I love this bookshelf. Of the many pieces of furniture I’ve put together I have to say that this was the easiest. I bought the whiteoak version. It looks very nice. I find that it is very sturdy. But it still should be attached to the wall.

This bookcase is perfect. The two wood tones and the curved frames above each shelf add interest to the overall look. And best of all — the assembly man who came to our home was knowledgeable about the process, efficient, and very helpful. Thank you.

The bookshelves were delivered ahead of schedule and were very easy to assemble. They are sturdy, sleek, and fit over 200 books!
