Bibliothèque standard Hazel

This was a solid and pretty well made piece. The wood patterngrain looks really nice and has a nice texture to it. I would say it nearly rivals my higher end table I have. However, the doors were the worst thing I’ve ever put on. It took almost 40 minutes to assemble them. So annoying. But overall, I like it!

I’ve assembled 10-12 pieces of furniture since November 2025, and I’ve gotten pretty good at it. I can usually complete assembly in 3-4 hours. This bookshelf took me TWO DAYS due to extremely poor quality hardware. THE GOOD: • The wood/composite pieces are nice and sturdy • Beautiful finished appearance • Design is attractive and functional THE BAD: • Hardware quality is shockingly poor - worst I’ve encountered • Nails were breaking during installation • Screws stripped easily • Cam lock connectors (the twist-lock pieces) kept breaking • NO extra hardware provided (every other product I’ve assembled included extras) • Had to substitute screws, which don’t fit properly • Bottom doors won’t close correctly due to hardware failures It’s incredibly frustrating because this is such a beautiful piece, but the cheap hardware completely undermined the quality. I’m left with a bookshelf that has missing screws and doors that won’t shut properly - not because of my assembly skills, but because the hardware literally broke during installation. To the manufacturer: please address your hardware sourcing for this product. The furniture itself deserves better quality fasteners and connectors. This could easily be a 5-star product with proper hardware. Would I recommend? Only if you’re prepared to potentially buy replacement hardware from a home improvement store.

Very sturdy and well built bookcase. Beautiful color! Since it’s a more neutral color, it can blend in with most decor styles, I love that it’s a mix of shelves and doors, perfect for your books as well as things you don’t need seen. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. Had some difficulty with putting together the doors because some of the screws didn’t line up as expected but I was able to make it work. Overall, I would definitely recommend. Happy shopping!

This bookshelf is not only heavy, but very well made. It didnt take long to put together and the directions were easy to understand. I love that theres a cabinet at the bottom so I can store items without them showing.
