This chess table exceeded my expectations. The quality is excellent, with a rich wood finish that feels substantial and well made. This is the perfect size game table. We have a small home and needed a table for playing chess as well as cards. It looks really good.

The table overall is designed nicely. The holes aligned and was able to put together with help as this is a heavy piece of furniture. The reason for four stars, the wood easily dents. I dropped a screw on the base and it dented. There was some stain varnish irregularities on the surface too.

Solid piece of furniture! The drawers are convenient for storing game pieces.
