Was it a bear to assemble? Yes, although I still got it done by myself on a Sunday afternoon. Exactly as described and perfect look in my room. Quality feels good - the pieces are thick and solid. The full set of directions is provided for both orientations (cabinet side on left vs right). Just FYI it is in one box and there's no way one person could move that thing alone.

It’s a great desk. Super spacious, really sturdy and heavy, and the directions made it very easy to put together—you do however only get the exact screws that you need, so be careful to not lose any!
