The sideboard is decent overall. It has a nice appearance and a good finish. However, the drawers do not open properly—you have to pull evenly on both handles at the same time, otherwise they get stuck. The cabinet doors are also misaligned. Even though we tried several times to adjust them, we couldn’t get them level, leaving a very noticeable gap between the doors. Overall, I’m giving it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s an okay piece of furniture, but nothing more.

This is a beautiful accent piece to my living room. It looks nice and the bonus storage space helps too!

Visually, it looks exactly like the listing photos. Honestly that's what makes this so frustrating because it had so much potential. I've given this thing a lot of time hoping it would get better or that maybe we had done something wrong during assembly. I've gone back through the instructions multiple times and even had my husband look everything over too. Neither of us can figure out what went wrong here. The drawers have never once slid in and out smoothly. They're crooked and bind constantly. The cabinet doors are the same way. No matter how much we adjust the hinges, they're uneven and don't want to close properly. The whole unit is bowing in the middle and sagging under its own weight. Even worse, the interior shelves have collapsed multiple times despite barely having anything on them. More than once they've fallen when nobody was even touching the cabinet. At this point we're honestly just tired of fighting with it. This wasn't a cheap piece of furniture and I've owned much cheaper furniture that felt significantly better made than this does. I spent days looking for an entryway cabinet that felt perfect and really thought this was going to be the one. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. The two stars are for appearance because it really is a beautiful piece of furniture. Unfortunately we've never actually been able to use it the way it was intended to be used, which kind of defeats the entire purpose.
