Second chair also misaligned and screw holes not drilled properly and aligned to sit solidly on the floor. They were provided a photo of the defect and they want the chair returned at my expense. It is more cost effective to dispose of and demand all charges be reversed. Not what you’d expect from a new purchase - not refurbished.

Bought 14 of these chairs for our meeting room. Two of them have already broken where the armrest attaches to the seat frame. It looks like a solid piece of wood but is in fact glued together. Both have broken in the same area. These chairs only get used a few times a month. Great looking chairs but the top of the backrest is plastic and not wood. If you are going to get a lot of use with these please look elsewhere for another model.

I really like the chair. I was not able to put it together, but I have a friend who is mechanical and he was able to figure it out. The arms don’t go in flush. That is the only thing that needs addressing and a bit of damage to the wood maybe in transit but not so noticeable. Too much trouble to return so I will live with it. Comfortable chair and looks great. Nice wood.
