This dresser fits the bill for what we needed. I will admit that it took me the better part of two days to construct it. There are very few words in the instruction manual. It was a fun puzzle. There were 278 instances of screwing a connection. I did more than that because at a couple of points I had constructed parts of it incorrectly based upon the non-instructions so had to disassemble and re-assemble. Some parts of this cabinet are solid wood but most are composite wood which doesn’t do well with re-worked screw holes. A few broken off toothpicks and a little wood glue fixed these instances! The top suggestion that should have been in the instructions is: Do not over tighten screws in the composite board! It strips the screw holes and makes a wobbly connection. I learned it through experience pretty quickly, but spent an hour or so strengthening those connections after I had made this mistake. I know the instructions say construction of this chest should be by two adults, but that would never have worked with me and my husband. He has different gifts. This chest of drawers requires a love of puzzles, patience and the desire to learn new skills. I actually loved building it and the result is solid, fully functional and attractive.

Drawers aren’t great. Get stuck really easily and the legs not on carpet are wobbly. Not going to use for long, just needed it in a smaller temporary space.

While the dresser looks great in the room, the build quality is disappointing. Despite quadruple-checking the assembly, the unit remains unbalanced. It appears there are slight variations in the board lengths, which prevents it from being as sturdy or level as expected. Great aesthetic, but the manufacturing precision is lacking.

Our bedroom is too small for a dresser and nightstand so I ordered these instead. They work perfectly as a nightstand dresser! They were ok to assemble as long as you carefully followed the pictures for correct orientation. The do have a chemical smell that wears off
