Bed is fine! A few chips and the smooth finish does not go all the way down on the footboard. (Fine if you like a high bed!) fits twin xl adjustable beds within frame.

If the furniture had not been scratched upon delivery, I would have graded it higher. I would buy this frame 1000 times over if there were two modifications. Obviously the first not being scratched, but the second thing is, you received 3 very flimsy center support beams that were nothing more than MDF, that bowed, and the supports that they gave with the beams look like a 10-year-old made them in woodshop. Those were cracked and painted over. They didn’t even touch the ground. And when you tried to unscrew it to touch the ground, which was the intent of it, it fell out. So I went onto another website and I purchased six steel slats to go inside. They will be here tomorrow. Listen to me when I say this. I would buy this bed again, even knowing I had to buy the steel slats. This bed is so well-made and it’s so heavy. You feel very safe in it. The one thing you must know as a consumer, this is probably one of the most solidly constructed bed frames I have ever owned. I am a big guy, 6’3” 300 lbs. It didn’t budge at all when I laid on it. Again, had it not been for the scratches, and the poor center support slats on the California King, I would buy it again in a heart beat. could’ve.n

This set is beyond gorgeous! Nothing beat solid wood furniture. We love it!
