I had higher hopes for this style of bed. I am a former merchandiser who built displays in stores. I am very good at putting things together. With that said, building this Murphy bed is a royal pain in the you know what. The instructions are not the greatest. The materials are cheap. A lot of the holes didn't align properly. I would've liked to have had pre drilled holes for the hinges on the side doors. For those reasons this bed should be in the $250 price range, not $700. If I had the time, I would've built my own from scratch.
