I assembled this myself for the gentleman for whom it was bought. One piece that should have two holes on the plate part of the bracket had one and the other hole was drilled in the wrong place. Because there wasn't an extra one, I used it anyway and hope that the one screw holds the back cushion in place well enough. There were no instructions as to how to attached the two sections together, but I forced two unmarked parts over the edges and it worked.
