Excellent storage bed! Ordered (Cal.King) April 19, 2020, arrived May 8 w/some damage, but as always Wayfair did an excellent job ensuring replacement parts. We have an adjustable mattress that requires a flat platform surface and since this bed has slatted boards (a no-no for adjustable mattresses), we improvised and replaced slats with 3/4" plywood, which we stained to match, and added 3" risers throughout. Yes, the color does lean a bit toward cherry, especially in certain lights, but we are quite happy with the purchase (and modifications) and have had many compliments since.

Quality construction. Color seems a little more on the cherry side than what is shown in the photo. Love the bed.
