The round shape has been quietly transformative for the room’s flow, no more corner collisions with shins during movie night traffic, and everyone seated around the sectional can reach the surface equally, which the generous diameter makes genuinely useful, drinks, a book stack, the remote basket and a decor bowl all coexist without crowding. The gloss finish over the veneer wipes clean of coffee rings and kid fingerprints with one pass of a damp cloth, and the X leg base has proven completely stable, no wobble even when my daughter leans on the edge during board game intensity. Assembly was legitimately simple with the included tools, the legs attached in about twenty minutes solo, though maneuvering the 66 pound assembled table into position wanted a second set of hands. Honest notes, the top is veneer over engineered wood, gorgeous but not a solid slab, so treat the surface kindly and use coasters for hot mugs. The gloss finish shows dust between wipe downs. And the 18 inch height sits slightly low against tall sofas, check your seat height. For an artful, functional centerpiece with genuine presence, this has worked beautifully for us and I’d recommend it.

This is a very good quality table. It was super easy and quick to assemble, feels sturdy, and looks great in my living room.
