Love this table!!! It looks perfect in my dining room

The table was pretty disappointing. I was very excited to receive this for the holidays in our new home. It came with free white glove delivery which was even better. After the team left, I noticed the table top was visibly damaged. Upon further investigation, the table was assembled incorrectly with the locking washers in the wrong spot, requiring myself to take the entire table apart and assemble it correctly. They also didn't install the wood plugs which left it looking unfinished, and of course the plugs were no where to be found. Not to mention, they installed the pedestals oriented in two different directions, neither of which were in the correct orientation. They are to be symmetrical. So assembly on this was a huge fail. Had I paid for white glove, I would have been demanding a refund. Regarding the table itself, the one reason I will give it 2 stars is because the pedestals are some pretty solid, hefty pieces of furniture. There is a significant amount of real wood constructing them, so it looks and feels substantial. The table top itself is on par with particle board and clearly easily damaged. Not quite what I was expecting for the price. Sure, this wasn't a top priced table but I still expected better than particle board. The mechanism for extending the tables is difficult and requires multiple people as the pedestals have to actually move as well. While I wasn't expecting it, though it would have been nice, the table doesn't have self storing leaves. Overall, the table has some nice qualities but ultimately is a cheaply made table that I regret purchasing. I wish I'd waited until I had more money to spend to buy something of quality at a real furniture store where I could see and touch the actual product.
