Now this is a BEAUTIFUL table and very easy to assemble. Nice size at 38” x 60” with straight (not curved) edges, and the corners are slight rounded which is safer if you have small children who might bump into them ………. it will still hurt, but hopefully not as much! The top is made from Alder which has natural knots/worm holes so be prepared for that. It’s not defective just the natural wood. It has a low sheen/matte lacquer finish which maintains the natural look. Very, very happy with it and it’s totally worth a few extra $$ for a real wood table!
