When we tried to assemble it we thought there was hardware missing but after speaking with customer service we learned that everything was in the back of the headboard behind the zipper cover. They did a great job packing it but it as just not clear to look there. The headboard is made with particle board and has wood boards glued to it to provide support but unfortunately the boards fell off so we had to reglue and tape it

An excellent bed, very sturdy and good height. Easy installation. It is a bit lightweight, but once mattress is placed, it is a great bed. Would order it again.
