It couldn’t have been any easier to put this together. It was already built. I just added the feet on it. It looks like leather. It is not leather. It is, however a very soft, sueded type material. This is a more compact unit. This would be great for smaller beds or living room Ottomans. It came so very well packaged there was absolutely no way this was going to be damaged in transit.

Its a nice ottoman. The color is an exact match to Wayfairs listing. It is sturdy and well made. The top is soft yet strong enough to be used as a sitting bench. As you can see from my photo I am using it to store gift wrapping this season. In my humble opinion this will be a good buy for anyone looking for a good solid ottoman.

This is the second one of these I've purchased. I LOVE it! Sturdy, comfortable, and roomy. Our bedrooms are small, and every inch of storage space is needed and appreciated. The lid will stay open on its own--no finger-smasher. Very practical and cute!
