It is disappointing how difficult it is to open. It slides across the floor. Would be good on a carpet. I turned it backwards and it is a pain to use, but useful.

When I was searching for this ottoman, I looked at about 20 different benches. I typically look at the one stars instead of the five stars one of the things that I noticed with a bunch of the other benches that there was a peculiar smell or they were difficult to the poorly made. This is not the case with this bench. Not only does it look lovely, but it was easy to put together. I think it took less than two minutes to screw the legs in. The top open as well and it looks very nice. Highly recommended!
