From the online picture you’d think that the mattress is somewhat recessed or surrounded by the upholstered frame. This is just not an accurate representation of the bed. As you see the mattress will sit almost flush. can

We loved our new king bedframe. We really liked it.

Functionally, it works as a bed frame. It doesnt look like the pictures. The bottom wrap around piece is smaller than you think and it DOES NOT cover part of the mattress the way the picture looks. The mattress when put on the frame basically sits on top of it. The materials seem fine though. I’ll keep it since it’s here now for a few years I guess.
