Unit looks as intended when assembled, but assembly was problematic in several ways. One of the two identical units was out-of-square and had to be returned, for which Wayfair put up many hurdles.
As to the assembly, if you are not handy, don't order this. If you are handy be prepared: 1) Shelves are NOT pre-drilled and there are no templates for the drilling locations so you have to carefully lay out where the holes must be placed. 2) The holes in the frame are countersunk, and flat head screws are supplied. However, the screws are too long, if used without washers they would likely penetrate the shelf. Even with the washers, the screw would come within 1/16 inch of penetrating the shelf. I bought flat head screws of a shorter length and a bigger diameter which worked okay. 3) You will need a "stubby" (short) screw driver to install some of the screws. 4) I bought the ~84 inch high shelf. For this two frames are bolted one on top of the other. However, the design of the unit means that the two frames do not stay properly aligned. Shimming with washers was required to get them to work. Note that the instructions - which are pretty thin at best - do not cover this part of the assembly, so you have to study all the parts and hardware to understand how it is intended to work.
Overall, I spent about three hours on the one shelf because of the incorrect parts, poor instructions, and finicky nature of this unit, and I'm pretty handy. This did not include the time for the trip to the hardware store for new screws.
