Bibliothèque en bois massif de style Shaker classique

I ordered 4 of the large book cases and 4 of the smaller ones same style to make my built in unit for my office. The shelves were very fast and easy to put together. I was able to modify the smaller shelves to stack them to complete the built in. All of the shelves were matching in stain and build consistency and the materials used were of very good quality for what i was trying to accomplish. Very well built shelving units.

I'm impressed with this bookcase. The wood is higher quality than I expected, and it was not too hard to put together. It is a very nice-looking piece of furniture. It looks great in my son’s room, and it fits his books well. My only complaints are that the thin back panel was just slightly too small, so it was tricky to nail into place, and the anti-tip system was not well-designed. The instructions showed it screwed into the fiberboard back panel, which would not be strong enough to prevent it tipping over. I used my own earthquake proofing anti-tip kit, and it worked fine.

Love the bookcase. However, the instructions were not very helpful in putting it together. Nothing written just pictures and not very good ones.

The dowels and dowel holes are so mis-shapened. And there are no pre-drilled holes for the screws. One of the panels split by the screw when we had to apply a little pressure to get the dowels flush. It looked great online but poorly engineered.
