The piece itself is great, once assembled. Sturdy, attractive, and good-quality. I have to deduct stars though because the packaging/delivery was infuriating. First of all, this is a large, heavy item, even when packed flat. It really should have come in 2 boxes, rather than one super long, super heavy box (a box that had basically fallen apart by the time it arrived). Second, it was packed with enough styrofoam to destroy a small ecosystem. Legitimately, how do these manufacturers expect us effectively dispose several cubic feet's worth of styrofoam. Do better.

This is a very nice bookcase. Very solid. Nice color. Its a little difficult to put together. If you follow the directions, it tries to fall over sideways. Once you get the back piece on, it is much sturdier. All in all, it is a very nice bookcase. We are missing one door handle because we misplaced the screwes. Will add tomorrow.

The shelf is very heavy and sturdy and it goes together pretty easily. The overall fit and finish is pretty good except that the shelves that you can reposition have rather large gaps side to side. The soft close doors in the lower cabinet work well.

Pretty heavy bookcase. Took me about 2 hours to put together and anchor to the wall. I made sure to glue every dowel and every part that was being connected to one another. With glue dry and assembly complete, it feels pretty solid. Thank you!

This bookcase came early and packaged well. All the pieces look to be in good condition. The reason for the four star came with no directions. We like the teak color and will submit another picture when installed.
