The parts were surprisingly dusty, and it was in between layers within the box so it was definitely there before it was packaged. Not the end of the world, but it was a lot of pieces to wipe down as I assembled. It also seems like it wouldn't have cut into profits too much to put the screws in two separate bags so I didn't have to dump them all out to find the 10 small ones for the rotating base hardware. Also, the instructions were terrifying until I realized it was just the same thing over and over - then they felt redundant. All that to say, the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the screws are SO visible, and also don't sit flush against the wood.

Such a space saver! Directions took me a minute to figure out, but wasnt hard to assemble. Great for books, DVDs, and more. Would recommend!

The whole thing was covered and filled in sawdust. The instructions aren’t the clearest though it’s pretty intuitive except the rotating base. The finish is very cheap tbh and all the screws are visible. It’s tedious to put together though not Super complicated— definitely need a drill imo since severesl holes weren’t actually drilled through.

This product was on back order from the moment I purchased it even though it was advertised to arrive within a few days. I was extremely excited for this bookshelf so I decided to wait a few weeks for it. Upon opening the box, I noticed the parts were very dirty from manufacturing and poorly backed. Most of the parts were chipped or scratched. The bookshelf was very hard to assemble as well as I thought most of the pieces were missing numbers, I noticed later that instead of the part number being printed on a sticker, it had been stamped on the part, which is not intentional as maybe a couple of the parts had stickers on them. Additionally, I’m very disappointed about the color as it has a much more red hue than what was shown in the photos. To me. It appears to be more of a mahogany finish than a walnut finish. Ultimately, I decided to keep this bookshelf as I had put a lot of effort into building it and I had a hard time finding alternatives with this design but I would not recommend this to others as I will have to use wood filler and paint this bookshelf so it matches my other furniture.
