Update The total height of this bookcase is 85.8. but I would NOT order in white if your intent is for it to look like one, cohesive high quality bookcase. You have to put the separate two drawer stool in front of the bookcase which blocks the bottom shelf and no matter which of the 3 options you choose for the bottom shelf height, there is 1) a visible gap between the bookcase and the two drawer stool in front and 2) the unused shelf peg holes are VERY visible. Some AI or photo blurring is used in the listing to hide the classic MDFadjustable shelf peg holes. To me, it cheapens the look a great deal. I wouldnt expect the ol white stickercam bolt and college style peg holes in a bookcase at this price. I read and trust reviews and see so many happy ones for this item. Then I noticed, the happy ones seem to be associated with the BackBrown color. I can see why this would hide the holes and visible gap better than in white. Its ok but more like a 100 max kinda item def not worth the price if youre considering in white.

Got four in black. The packaging was massive and protective. The quality is good and sturdy and all four looks amazing. Assembly had one challenge, the following photos show the right location to mount the drawer rails.

Very nice! The wood is definitely a bit darker than pictured, but I'm still happy with it. The drawers could slide a little more easily, but again, nothing earth-shattering. Fills a space well.

Narrow enough to fit in my limited space, but tall enough to accommodate plenty of books and other items in the shelves. The instructions were confusing at one point because certain screws were mislabeled on a couple of steps, but the pictures of what to use were all correct. The instructions for the slide mechanisms for the drawers also weren’t entirely clear at first about detaching one part of it to attach the individual parts to the drawer and bookcase to slide in later, but it was easy enough to manage once that was figured out.

These look really good easy to assemble. The lower boxdrawers do not fit in the shelf as pictured- but look good stacked a a side table. Very nice for price!
