I bought two of these to use in an office. They were pretty easy to put together, although it did take a few hours for each bookcase. Moving them once put together was not a one person job, but putting them together was easy enough to do with one person.

Wow amazing! They are tall for my very tall ceilings. Got rid of my desk and book shelf bc it was a disaster with books stacked everywhere. These have a ton of space. Most importantly, it is very sturdy and very well put together!

For 250$ bucks (taxes included) I expected way more. To begin with, assembling this shelf was difficult and frustrating. The instructions didn’t make things any easier—they only made the process more confusing. Still, after two days, we finally managed to put it together. Unfortunately, it didn’t come without damage. When we tried to secure the structure with nails using a drill, it kept cracking and breaking because the wood isn’t real it’s made of cheap particle board. At some point, we even had to glue certain parts just to keep them from falling apart. In the end, I’d say it’s better to spend a bit more money on a shelf than to deal with something like this.

We bought this bookcase in black and it fits nicely in my husband's office. It was not difficult to put together, but it definitely needs to people to stand it up, as the directions state. The back is a thicker material, like paneling, instead of the cheap material, like some bookcases have. It saves us room as all of our books fit on the shelves nicely.
