Superbe !

Solid bookshelf, definitely can hold a good amount of weight. Not overly heavy though once completely built. Was a little funky to put together which is my only reason for four stars but build quality overall and construction I would say are really good for the price.

The front has a giant sticker bigger than a 4x6 index card that doesn't come off nicely/easily at all. None of the three back panels are cut evenly. Two pieces came out of the box with the finish peeled off at the corners. More than ten nails hold the flimsy, uneven back panels into place.... this thing is made of low quality, thin MDF. That many nails is such a bad idea. One wrong swing of the hammer and someone inexperienced will obliterate the whole thing. Do not recommend. Avoid the headache.

Perfect amount of cubbies in just the right sizes. I bought two to flank my fireplace. The plan is to beef them up with wood and trim to make them look like built ins and use a 12 foot board as a room-wide mantle. I've temporarily dressed them with navy baskets and decor. They house my collection of videos and soon will have Halloween lights and candles along with potions and poisons...
