As many other reviewers have said, this is an item made inconsistently and cheaply. One of the holes was not drilled to match up with the hole in the shelf. Would be fine, but since we had just moved in, we did not have a drill, so had to force a screw in which is still sticking out (3rd pic). 3 of the 5 shelves cracked when tightening the screws (also visible pic 3). Overall, I really do like this corner shelf, but I sure wish I hadn’t paid $80 for a product of $25 quality.

Beautifully well made and sturdy! Wish it was slightly taller but I guess that’s my fault for not measuring the dimensions before buying. Still don’t regret the purchase, I love this bookcase!
