Great style and good assembly instructions

Great quality, easy to put together. Holds the TV nicely

I bought this on Wayfair mostly because the dimensions fit the narrow space it will go in, and because it looked nice. Now that I've put it together, I can say that it's a decent product and does look nice. HOWEVER, the assembly was a total nightmare. I've put together a lot of furniture in my life and this is by far the worst. It comes with a packet of 66 screws -- yes, 66! For what should be a relatively simple metal frame. Making matters worse, the assembly instructions are terrible. It turns out that the "E" pieces which are the metal bars with little shelves that the faux marble sits on (there are 8 of these) need to be assembled in a specific direction, which of course the assembly guide doesn't mention. And the screw holes don't prevent you from making the mistake of installing them in the wrong direction. So after hours of assembly you eventually realize that some of those bars are in the wrong direction and you have to TAKE THE WHOLE THING APART and do it all over again. It doesn't help that many of the pre-drilled screw holes in the metal are a little too small so it's really hard to get the screws to screw in (I eventually got all of them in except one, which just seems to be a defective hole). Adding insult to injury, once I got it all sorted out, the last piece to install is the big marble shelf that sits on the very top of the unit and goes the full length of it. Well that's when I discovered that that piece had no pilot holes for the screws to attach it. The two smaller shelves down below had pilot holes and I was able to attach them to the metal frame, but the larger shelf (part "A") had no holes at all. I reported the problem to Wayfair and I'm hoping the manufacturer can just send me a new part A, but of course I'll probably be without use of this TV stand for at least a week while I wait. Very annoying. It's too bad because I think the unit itself is good. If they would just simplify the assembly and provide better instructions, and of course do some quality control to make sure that parts actually have pilot holes, then I could rate this product 5 stars.

This TV stand took a while to assemble, but it is perfect for my space and well made. It matches my decor and I love the marble look!!
