The item has a nice wide seat. The back is very low and you should not expect any type of back support. In fact, if you try to lean back & youll fall back. This was not a concern for me bexause Im using this as a backless stool. The legs arent that stable because there is only a one H or T Piece which secures the foot rest and legs so it can feel a little wobbly I strength is by adding side bars.

Great counter height stool! They were easy to assemble. And sturdy enough for my children.

very well made. went together easily and it looks great. one issue though is the height of back rest. its very low and tilted back a bit, if you lean your back into it you feel like you're falling back. This makes it a pretty unusable feature.
