It is as I expected. The drawers have a very thin bottom so I will put any heavy items in them. Assembly was fairly straightforward

I love it I just wish it was taller so I bought some legs to put them on myself )

We moved into our first house, so I had a reset button on my office. For months I’d been looking at bookcase hacks on social, and then I saw these and fell in love. They’re more awesome in person and make for a great focal point for the room. If you assemble these yourself (the 5 module version) build one first, and then you can assembly line the other 4. I finished putting these together in less than 4 hours.

Great for a kids’ room. The 5 individual pieces give you a lot of flexibility. Points off for large (~12”diameter) screw heads visible in upper shelves with no cap to cover or camouflage. Sturdy construction, drawers glide nicely, easy to assemble.

Well built, all assembled identical, good instructions.
