Don’t let the pictures fool you. For one, after assembly the 3 separate bookshelves do not line up together as though they are a single unit. There will be gaps between them as the vertical components are not truly straight and plumb so it ends up looking a little wonky. Second, the backings that get nailed on are not single pieces. There are actually 4 pieces (2 top and 2 bottom with each unit) with a resulting seam vertically down the middle between the pieces. Also the pieces do not quite fit as you would think so it’s a little tricky nailing them in such that you don’t split/crack the underlying piece you’re nailing into. Finally, the little stickers that are provided to mask the hardware just barely cover the holes they are meant to cover. There’s maybe 1mm of the outermost circumference of the sticker that is actually sticking to anything and I’m sure that over time the stickers will be easily displaced or just come off on their own. All that being said, they look ok overall and will do the job. Just don’t expect a picture perfect unit like the pictures. Finally, don’t be fooled by the “marked down” price advertised by Wayfair. There is no way in world these units were ever sold for over $2000. They are overpriced as is for what we paid for them and you shouldn’t pay more than $500 for them when in stock. After the fact I found the exact same package of units from a wholesaler for under $300.
