I like the overall look of this table, but there are a couple of issues with the finish. First, knots in the wood were filled in with a putty that has a slight greenish tint, so it doesn’t match the wood very well. Second, the wood itself scratches VERY easily. We bought this table mostly to play games at, and just a couple of times of playing dominoes on it has made multiple scratches in the surface. I feel like they could’ve used a better vanish on at least the table top to protect it. It is also a little small for playing games, but that is not the table’s fault. We are probably going to end up purchasing a glass top to put on the table, both to protect it and to give us a little more room.
