I guess I wasn't very thorough. It said solid wood but I see now it's manufactured and solid whatever that means. I expected it to be at least an inch thick. It's not. The sides are in 2 pieces I have my doubts that it will hold up. I have owned several different types and this is the cheapest looking one I've seen. Granted it didn't cost a lot but neither did my others. Can't really rate it until I've used it it at least put it together.

Great minimalist bed frame, was easy to build. There is a small gap between the end of the mattress, perhaps its for adding a headboard in the future
