I'll start by saying we did not want a gray couch. The vibe of our home is earthy - greens, browns, creams. So I would've preferred ordering this sectional in "neutral" instead of putty, but neutral apparently isn't available anywhere. Bummer. But this appeared to be the shape we wanted, and fit our relatively small living room. The couch was delivered upside down, and you definitely need two people to bring it inside (there is an option to have them set it up, however no one was going to be home during the delivery timeframe). This sectional is ok...it'll hopefully hide dog fur. It's very firm, but I'm sure over time it'll soften. We weren't looking for the ottoman to create the chaise, but it's what we got, so our bad not looking at the photos correctly. I would also recommend a drill to put the feet on- a screwdriver was tough. My husband said the stencil drive one of the screws straight into metal, so I suppose watch out for that. Overall this sectional will work, it's just not mind blowing

The Ashley O’Phannon sofa could spice up any living/family room. While it’s a bit firm, it is a beautiful Charcoal Grayish (Putty) with a soft, herringbone weave Chenille upholstery. I definitely made the right decision!

So far, it seems very sturdy and very comfortable. Perfect for our space.
