This sofa is basically upholstered plywood. I never would’ve purchased this sofa if there were images of the assembly in the description. I knew some assembly was required I just did not imagine that every part of plywood required being screwed together. It took me about 2 hours to put together from start to finish and I used a drill which cut down on the time. The direction could’ve been clearer but it’s not my first time assembling furniture so I figured it out. The sofa size and depth is as described, but the thin cushions and pillows are far from comfortable. If I could have this picked up and taken away I would. The quality is lacking in every aspect of this piece. Beyond the sofa not being comfortable, the ottoman is not functional. There is no way of securing the pillows to the base of the ottoman, which means they will move whenever you go to put your legs up or move them once they are on there. Additionally one of the legs was to short and I ended up using some of the extra washers to raise it up so it wouldn’t wobble. Finally, it was missing one of the two lumber pillows adding to the already disappointing and frustrating experience. Btw, let me not forget to mention that it was delivered on two separate days. It’s been a s!t show. Do not buy this subpar “sofa”.
