Unfortunately, I would not purchase this item again due to the poor quality and construction. I was extremely disappointed because I purchased this as a gift for my mother and had it shipped directly to her. Since I didn’t live nearby, the item wasn’t opened until a few weeks later when I visited and helped her put it together. The ottoman legs are extremely cheaply made. Almost immediately after assembly, the legs bent and came undone with minimal pressure. This is very disappointing for a piece of furniture that should be sturdy and functional. Unfortunately, because the item was shipped and opened at a later date, we are now outside of Wayfair’s return window. The issue is not buyer’s remorse. It is a clear quality and construction issue that could not have been discovered until the item was assembled. The couch itself could have been nice, but the poor construction and quality of the ottoman make the overall purchase extremely disappointing. I would strongly encourage Wayfair to review the quality of this item and the materials being used by the vendor. Unfortunately, this was a case of getting what you pay for.
