Chaise d'appoint rembourrée

I initially had issues with this order…missing hardware for the ottoman, poor packaging (the hardware bag arrived torn with parts loose in the box), and very confusing instructions. There were even extra pieces included that didn’t seem to belong. After a delay, I did finally receive the missing parts from Wayfair and was able to assemble the ottoman. The good: the chair looks great in my space and is very comfortable. Now that it’s complete, the chair and ottoman together make a nice set. The downside: the overall quality and assembly experience don’t quite match the price. Between the missing parts, poor packaging, and unclear instructions, it was more frustrating than it should have been. Bottom line: Stylish and comfortable, but the quality control and assembly process need improvement.

Chair is comfortable, and ottoman has nice storage. Cushions do not fit exactly but are functional. For the price point it is an ok bargain, a little on the cheap side. Assembly is easy and shipping was on time.

Terrible chairs! Upholstery is cheap - ragged, unfinished. Can see cracks between the floor and wall of ottoman. Mechanism to raise and lower chair back inconsistently adjusts. One side hooks and the other doesn’t. Uneven and unstable. Don’t feel safe or comfortable lying back in them. Ought to be embarrassed to sell these. Shane on you!

Receiving this chair was a disappointment. It was missing two parts and the assembly could not be completed without these parts. When I contacted Wayfair, they said the onus was on me to track down the missing parts from the manufacturer. Wayfair should own this responsibility and not pass it off to the customer. I'll think twice before ordering from Wayfair again.
