We recently bought a house with a large walk-in closet and at some point I'll have a company come in and do the closet. But until that happens, I need more drawer space and space for jewelry, sunglasses, etc. Aesthetically, it's not my cup of tea. Gray is overdone and I'm not really into shiny furniture. But it's in the closet and no one's going to see it. Putting it together took awhile, and I have a ratcheting screwdriver that was a big help (use the included screwdriver to adjust the hinges). But the directions, with a few minor tweaks, were great (they don't tell you that you're supposed to flip it over to put together the bottom, then the top, but you can intuit that by the pictures).
The major things that make this a really good deal - 1. Each drawer has extra support on the underside to keep the thin particle board bottom from bowing. 2. There are little tabs in the back that keep the thin particle board backing from bowing. 3. I've put together many a Swedish piece of furniture and never had at least one drawer or door that wasn't a little bit lopsided - didn't have that problem here. 4. The instructions on how to adjust the hinges on the top are "chef's kiss".
I bought this thinking if I got a year out of it, I'd be happy. Time will tell if it will hold up, but I think it will.
