The back of this chair was hard to put on the base. We bought it for my husband who is 6’5” and it wasn’t big enough for him. I was able to use it. The chair moves real slow to recline and come back up. I often jump out of it with it still in the recline position. The chair isn’t real comfortable in the upright position (it leans a little forward).

Update! Since purchase, the chairs stuffed arms have separated, you can feel the wood in the arm of the chair. Also, it is not an oversized chair, too small to categorize as such

Nice chair, comfortable. It’s not as big as it sounds… not a “big man’s chair”. I’m 5’5” and if I were much taller my feet would hang over. That being said I find it co sortable and convenient. It definitely helps me to stand up with ease and less pain!

We bought this for my sister and she is enjoying it.

Works as advertised but not quite as comfy as it looks in the picture. That’s the only problem with ordering on line, you can’t sit on it and test it out. But am happy with it and it is well built.
