It is probably a function of wall hugger recliners but there is not good back support when reclined, otherwise a nice chair for the money

The recliner was received in two separate packages and in four pieces - the bottom base, two arms, and the back. It was extremely easy to put together by one person. The recliner has a medium firmness so you will not be sinking into the seat. The reason why I am not giving it the full 5 stars is because the description of the color is off. I ordered gray and received a blue and beige mix. Be aware before ordering or you may have to go through returns.

Purchased this for my mother who has a lot of neck and back issues. She loves it. Only downside is no adjustment for her head when reading, but that was not advertised or expected. Super simple to put together and good quality.
