The power recliner arrived quickly, earlier than the estimated arrival date which was a nice surprise. The item came in two boxes at slightly different times, and I was happy that it was obvious that care was taken to protect the pieces since each piece had a substantial covering around it and all pieces were packed securely. The directions were clear and assembly was pretty easy and went smoothly (It only took about 15-20 minutes tops to unpack the boxes, review the parts and directions and put them together. I do have to say a couple of the pieces were a little heavy, but my son was able to handle it himself without any real difficulty.) No tools (except a little push power to insert the back) were necessary. Once assembled it looked so nice with a true medium gray color as shown on the website and the material was soft but gave good support which makes me believe it should hold up well. The recliners mechanism was easy to use and worked beautifully, moving smoothly at a comfortable speed which you could stop when it was at the angle you desired. It is also able to recline quite far back which would make it easy to rest if you wanted to sleep. Im very pleased with this purchase and Im hoping to enjoy this chair for many years to come!
