Fauteuil inclinable pivotant en velours de 29,9 po de largeur

We got this classic push back recliner for our northwestern Michigan home. It fits beautifully in our home too! But putting it together turned out to be harder than it should’ve been! When we put it in the slots, we missed one side. So husband did some research and carefully undid the error and got it in place correctly! Thank you Wayfair, it’s great!

I am so bummed! I have been looking at these recliners for weeks now. Everything about them was perfect (color, size, material, features) but I was not sure about ordering chairs online. Well? I now regret it. They are "meh" at best in the comfort category. They are a great size and color! But the mechanics are a 1! The biggest concern is that you have to put so much force into pushing them back that you almost fear that you will break them. I am an average female (size and weight) and I have good core muscles! These chairs require that I lean forward and thrust myself backward at least two times, while pushing as hard as I can with my arms, before they recline. Either that, or I have to lean forward and physically pull up on the footrest for it to move. Once reclined, they are ok. They feel a bit tippy, have a short footrest, and are firm in the cushions. If I have to keep them, I would guess they will last a year? Maybe? I am really hoping for a resolution. Oh, and one of the recliners had a broken back piece. Not super noticeable when put together, but broken none-the-less. Wayfair was ready to make that right (good customer service for things like that). I sure hope they come through with a full return!

I have to give the chair 3 stars. I ordered in the brown and although the color and material are nice the chair is not what I expected for a recliner. First, I paid extra for the assembly service which was ridiculous because the chair required no assembly. You slid the top piece into the bottom. It took 2 minutes. If I would have been able to see assembly instructions online I would have seen I did not need to pay $79.00 extra for assembly service. Then there is a seam on the front seat cushion that is not straight across. The fabric is tight on the cushion so this can not be adjusted. Hoping eventually it will level out. The biggest problem is the chair does not stay reclined. If you put the chair in the first recline position with the footrest out and the back just slightly back but still sitting up it is fine but if you move to recline back and relax the chair folds back up to the first position. Unless you hold your feet on the foot rest the chair does not stay reclined back so that you can relax stretched out. I am not sure if this was a one time problem on the chair I received or if this is how it is made. I feel a recliner should stay reclined back in any position you move it to.
