I'm extremely disappointed with this breastfeeding rocking chair I purchased as a surprise Christmas gift for my wife, a new mom. The chair's description and image on the website were misleading, and the actual product failed to meet our expectations. The resting back doesn't stay in place, regardless of any adjustments, and falls down flat. I literally have to lean it on the wall for it to stay in place. This automatically restricts the chair from rocking. The cushion is also very thin, allowing the hardness of the metal bars to be felt underneath, making it uncomfortable for my wife to sit and breastfeed our 2-month-old son. I had hoped to provide my wife with a comfortable and cozy spot to nurse our baby, especially during late-night feedings, but this chair has fallen short of our expectations. As a result, I'm left feeling disappointed that my surprise gift didn't turn out as planned.
