I do think that the back is shorter than expected and that’s why the chair would suit a shorter person better. When assembling the recliner, pay close attention to the pictures in the instructions. It sometimes takes a little thought to realize from what angle the photos were taken. When moving the chair, keep in mind the shelves on the side are held in place by Velcro and cannot be used for lifting.

The recliner arrived in great condition, it was well packed. My husband put it together for us today. I Love it the material is so soft. This chair is very comfortable. And being motorized is Great.. For a massage, heat , to put your legs up. This is a Solid chair, made very good. I have no complaints , very happy with this chair GREAT CHOICE...

This recliner is great! Love the heat and massage feature. Feels really good. I dont like that you cant just raise the foot part up separately from the back but I like the material ( faux leather) will be so easy to keep clean. I was surprised that it wasnt a hard of assembly. The chair looks great, very pleased.

Very uncomfortable. The foot rest does not go far enough up in any position. There is nothing cushy about it. It was extremely difficult to assemble with very poor instructions. Looks great. Functionality is zero. This is going back in the box.
