I LOVE the concept of this counter. It’s is very functional and aesthetic. Quality and sturdiness is good for the price. However, it was a nightmare to assemble. The instructions weren’t consistently clear, esp when it came to installing the drawer tracks. Half of the screw holes to attach the track to was misaligned, so we had to make new holes for it align correctly. Took about 4 hrs to build bc of the troubleshooting. Wish i could give it a 3.75.

Sturdy and absolutely beautiful. I paid for the assembly as it was too heavy and came in 3 different boxes. Took a professional 2.5 hours to build.

Looks pretty

Overall, a beautiful island once you get it put together. That is why I reduced rating from 5 to 4 stats. The instructions were just pictures and while some were expanded pictures, very difficult to figure out some areas. In addition, some pieces I had to reverse...maybe it was me but once I did that, things fit correctly. In the end it was worth it but would be nice if a video was available or at least written instructions to help.
