Got this during a labor day sale, would not pay full price for it- its a pretty cheap piece. A few things to consider during assembly - 100 a two person job. Drill or impact driver is really helpful, especially if you have an alan key bit - grab some extra washers. A lot of the nuts that it comes with really dont provide the coverage needed to fully secure the hardware - Holes do not line up with joists for wall mounting. We got one hole to line up with one joist. We drilled other holes into the metal to get them to line up with our other joists and used 4 inch heavy duty screws instead of the hardware provided - The cutout for the trim really just caused us some extra issues with securing to the wall but we have an old house with 8 tall trim. This also causes some squeaking due to it rubbing against the trim - Not sure if we are missing a top trim piece or what, but the mounting brackets are fully visible when bed is lowered. Ill probably cover with a tension rod and curtains or something because I dont feel like painting We have some more fixes and securing to do. It will probably only be used a handful of times a year but hope it holds up safely.

Really good overall! It’s very pretty and went together easily. All parts were included, labeled, and instructions were easy. The only reason I removed a star was because the stud holes are 19 inches apart and most American houses are 16-inch studs, so drilling through the metal to anchor it was a chore. It had one small defect on one of the doors which Wayfair replaced promptly. The wood slats under the mattress feels a little flimsy, but should be okay with weight spread out. Love the look. Still awaiting a mattress, so can’t speak to fit yet. This created a ton more space for us to use in our nursery!

Solid design, pretty easy to put together - took about 4 hours with 2 people. Definitely only fits up to a 12” mattress would recommend using a 10” to be safe.

Does not fit 12” mattresses! Ask me how I know! The instruction manual says 10” max. Assemble has a zillion parts and will take a day.

Looks great! Guests complimented. Goes up and down easily. We’ve only used it once so far but held up good!
