It’s an okay furniture. It doesn’t have the best finish, but it’s very functional that’s what I was shopping for. It’s recommended by the website to use it with 5” mattress. But you can go with a 6” easily, with no problems to open the trundle. I would even buy a 7” mattress and open the trundle a little tighter, but have more comfort to sleep!! I bought 2- 5” mattresses, and now I am buying a 4” thickness king size pillow top to make it more comfortable to sleep. If you opt to use it with 5” mattresses try to buy very well structured ones, so you won’t feel the bed’s structure on your back when you lay down

This is one purchase I fully regret. We have a similar bed from a Swedish-owned chain store. I needed another one and this bed was 150 cheaper (than the previous one). The main problem is that there is a significant gap because no twin mattress is as wide as this bed is wide - by at least 2 inches. This is hard to hide, many things drop in that space and it just looks weird if you sleep in it. The issue is that the extension part sticks out of the main frame, and that makes the bed (when at the twin size) be a lot wider than a standard mattress. This does not happen with the bed made by the other store. The other issue (which i was fully aware of before buying) is that the recommended mattress for the trundle is a 5-6 inch. I planned to store the extension mattress in the trundle space (since we don’t need a king size and a twin trundle for guests). But that meant that i had to get the same mattress as for the top - 8 inch. 5-6 inch mattress would definitely not be comfortable for the top. So we did away with the trundle and just stored the extra mattress underneath.

Not the best quality bed, but great for a spare bedroom. Easy assembly and the style allows us to put just about anywhere in the room

Looks great on picture but Not as I thought , I always need to carry the top up to open the lower one which I don’t think it should be, anyway it’s done
