Lit de jour en lin avec couchette Helin Preppy

Bed is super cute, but ran into some issues. Boxes were delivered busted so I took pictures for proof. (I knew I was going to need) Upon opening the boxes, we found support slats busted. I tried to get immediate help but was told manufacturer would have to handle. It took about 48 hours to hear from them, and all they offered was a small discount or I could ship back. I chose the small discount, and we made our own slats and repaired one support piece. Assembly took a solid two hours, but was pleased with the overall appearance of the bed. I will say this- I ordered a hybrid 12 inch thick mattress in a box, and it’s a super tight fit! Putting sheets and quilt on the bed was quite a struggle.

Really cute bed but what a pain to assemble it! Took 3 people at one point and I’d say you need a drill to make it go faster! Instructions need some help to make it easier to understand and follow BUT once assembled definitely worth it

Love this bed! Its adorable and my daughter loves it!!

Pros It looks very nice and hopefully will last a long time. The full is much larger than I thought. My 6 ft husband can fit in it comfortably with our toddler. Cons The upholstery has very little padding underneath and is extremely hard, so I’m a bit worried our toddler could injure herself when playing or sleeping. There appears to be no weight limit specific to the trundle when it’s raised just an overall limit which I believe applies mostly to the main bed that is much more sturdy. And the instructions were ok but many of the pieces are not labeled so it was a bit complicated figuring out which screws to use.

It’s super cute! It’s taken us 2 hours to install up to this point. Requires 2 people and some of the screws are hard. It’s sturdy and fits great in small space. Our wall is 82 inches and bed is 80 inches.
