Love this! Sturdy. Design is so much more attractive than standard bunk beds. The queen mattress is 12” a,d twin mattress is 9”. We had a queen bunkie board but it raised the mattress too much leading to less head room. The included slats for queen bed seem to be enough unless maybe a very heavy man sleeps on it.

Great bed, sturdy and not too hard to put together, but the trundle piece holes did not align and despite trying different ways we now have to wait for additional pieces to come. It has been difficult to claim we need trundle pieces and several emails to confirm. I wish Wayfair would just send the 2 pieces we need but unfortunately they are being difficult and despite photos and emails to prove holes do not match on either side they do not want to send replacement. I originally have 5 stars but changed to 1 once we attempted to put together trundle and could not. The first picture shows how they don’t align on either side of trundle front piece so need two, then second picture is how we have it staged with unattached front piece but looks bad since not level, and third picture is the bed half done since can’t put together trundle. What a bummer. If you want a day bed with a trundle I would pick something else.

Love the quality of this daybed! Seems very sturdy and ordered the 8” foam mattresses from Wayfair also. Trundle rolls out easily. Directions are just pictures so not so good. The screws for the sides to attack to the back bar weren’t long enough so I got ones that were 14” longer. No big deal. They are metric. Trundle slats only go one way which is not indicated so, if they overlap on the ends, just flip them around. I’m pretty good at this stuff so I figured it out. End result is that I love the bed and trundle.

Happy with the purchase and looks nice. The gray has more of a brownish undertone.
